Moody or More? A Guide to Adolescent Depression

While adolescence can be a difficult time, most teens can balance the angst and moodiness of typical adolescence with the joy that comes from friends, extracurricular activities and developing their own identity. Depression, on the other hand, is a serious problem that can interfere with a teen’s ability to achieve that balance. This workshop will help parents differentiate typical teen moodiness and acting out from more serious signs of depression. In addition, it will provide them with information about ways in which parents can help teens manage sadness, moodiness and irritability.

Presenter: Sam Fasulo, PhD

The workshop is free and open to the public. Please register in advance.
