October 6-7: NYU's Open House New York

New York University's Office of Government and Community Affairs presents:


NYU is proud to participate in the 10th Annual openhousenewyork Weekend, striving to promote a greater appreciation of the city’s built environment. Join us on Saturday, October 6th and Sunday, October 7th, as the University invites members of the general public into academic spaces with deep architectural and historical significance. Access is free and tours are available on a first-come first-serve basis.

Explore the architecturally acclaimed lobby and stairwell of the NYU Philosophy Building.
Open to the public from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm.

Revel in a tour of this Beaux-Arts marvel. Tours begin at 12:00, 1:00, 2:00, 3:00 and 4:00 pm. 10 guests per tour.

NYU Institute of the Study of the Ancient World

Get to know this 19th century limestone triumph through either a docent-led or self-guided tour. Self-guided tours are available from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm; docent-led tours available at 1:00, 3:00 and 5:00 pm. Limit of 20 guests per tour.

Jane Marx Tour of Greenwich Village

Sunday, October 7 at 10:00 am
Take a tour through Greenwich Village with NYC legend Jane Marx. Tours meet under the Washington Square Arch. Space may be limited.
